    Default Bead seat repair advice?

I've got a split of the bead seat material in the area where the hole for the seatbelt was cut out. I've tried epoxy from Home Depot to glue it back together but it does not work. Anyone have any suggestions on a glue/epoxy that would work?

    Thanks!

I vacuum bagged the seat in a layer of the lightest kevlar I could find. It really improves the durability.

Send an email to Jody at SpeedSeat (Apexspeed Sponsor). He should be able to tell you if it's doable or not.

Hysol works, but honestly if your seat is broken, replace the seat.

geeze if it just cracked because it's thin/not supported well there I'd guess that liquid nails would probably work. It's just styrofoam. any construction adhesive used to glue foamboard should work.

When I make a seat I take a handful of beads, mix up some epoxy, and use the slurry to fill in voids.

I use aeropoxy for bead seats and it works fine but takes a while to cure.
