    Default GLC Weekend #4 Mid-O

OVR Regional Race at Mid-Ohio over the Labor Day weekend.
    2013 GLC Series weekend #4
Damp track Saturday AM, run on slick tires.
No rain for the rest of the weekend. Great weather for racing (as noted by some very good lap times).
Good size FC and CFC group (larger than most SCCA events).
Here are some of the pictures I took this past weekend.

Thank you Rob Allaer for your generosity.
Thank you OVR for your continued support for this event.

Well the weekend has come and gone... Definitely an interesting weekend for us, everything that could happen did happen but besides that it was a blast. Here is Bill's write up and a little video to go along with it.

    Default Car Count?

How many cars were entered for the GLC at this event? Looks like fun.

    Default GLC Weekend #4

    Ralph,
Thirteen GLC, plus two others from the area.
One had to leave Saturday AM before he got on the track for a family emergency.
Ended up with fourteen cars for the weekend.
I would expect that or more for this seasons last event, at Waterford Hills Sept.28-29.
Mufflers required but we do have our own race group and special membership entry prices.

Might be something to consider for next season. Is the series planning on continuing next year?

    Are Zetec powered cars allowed?

I sure hope it's planning on continuing. My guess would be most definitely. And yes, Zetec cars are allowed. The rule has been any Ford powered FC is legal.

    Default Good times!

7 rows of FCs can't be matched anywhere in club racing. It's a great deal and everyone is very competitive. Thanks again Keith and sponsors for putting this series together.

Oh and great pictures! Thanks especially for picking that picture Keith. (nice)

I thought the track turned the other way there... no one told me which way to go... ; )

Waterford Hills is still my favorite place and the best kept secret in racing. Can't wait for the finale.

    See you guys there!

Thanks Bruce... Sunday was much better than Saturday. I love Mid Ohio but it sure does punish you when you make a mistake! Someday I'll figure that track out! Hoping for a big turnout for Waterford. Should be fun...
