ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. (October 19, 2004) – Cooper Tires Championship Series team 10/Tenths Motorsport has recently announced it is moving from Davie, Fla. to Atlanta, Ga. Formed in 1987 by Bill and Craig Vogeley, 10/Tenths is a leading race car prep shop.

A multi-car team in the Formula Ford Zetec Championship, part of the Cooper Tires Championship Series, 10/Tenths is moving its shop to Atlanta in order to enhance its Zetec Championship program, as well as provide better service to its amateur racing clientele. In addition to the new modern 3800 square foot shop, 10/Tenths new location provides the team with several tacks nearby to conduct testing.

"We're very excited about the move," said Craig Vogeley. "The new shop will allow us to expand our efforts and it's great having five tracks within four hours drive to go test at."

Inspired by their grandfather, William Engle, who was a National Champion boat racer in the 1940's to the 1960's and their father Bill Vogeley Sr., who took to them to the track as kids, the brothers began racing cars in the early 1980's. Having raced formula cars and sports cars, the duo became involved in race car preparation, forming 10/Tenths. Utilizing Bill's Mechanical Engineering background and Craig's background in Software Development and Logistics, the team quickly achieved success. After primarily focusing historic sports car and SCCA Club Racing, 10/Tenths entered the Zetec Championship in 2003.

Racing in what is widely regarded as North America's premier open-wheel training series, the team ran cars in both the Zetec Championship and American Continental Championship (Cars using the Ford Pinto engine) during its first year. With driver Erick Hansen, 10/Tenths finished second in the ACC, scoring two wins. This past year the team once again ran cars in both classes, with Hansen capturing three top-10 finishes in the Zetec Championship and Glennon Reidler winning twice in ACC.
