    ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. (April 13, 2004) -The Cooper Tires Championship Series today announced it has returned Lime Rock Park to the 2004 schedule. In place of the annual Memorial Day weekend, the Cooper Series will now take part in the American Le Mans Series New England Grand Prix, July 2-5.

    Competing on the demanding 1.53-mile road course, the Formula Ford Zetec Championship and the Formula SCCA Championship will each contest a single race. On track activities commence Friday, July 2, with testing, followed by qualifying and racing on Saturday and Monday. This will mark the second consecutive year the Cooper Series has raced at Lime Rock Park.

    Widely regarded as North America's premier training series, the Cooper Tires Championship Series offers the complete motorsports education, with emphasis on cost-effective racing. Racing throughout the United States and Canada, the Cooper Series showcases the best young drivers from around the world on a challenging mix of racetracks.

    The Cooper Tires Championship Series next event is April 23-25, at Road Atlanta, as part of the Drift Atlanta weekend.
