    Default 2013 Open Wheel Calendar

While this year's SCCA calendar is a slight improvement, it's still seriously lacking in open wheel photography. So, because I'm a glutton for punishment, I'm creating another calendar for 2013 that deals with SCCA open-wheel cars and only open-wheel cars.
Once again, I collected some top-notch photos from Dennis Valet, Pepper Bowe, Jacques Dresang, and Shawn Mueller; and Brad Ellingson is once again doing the layout work. I hope to have it ready for the printer by the end of the week.
In the meantime, you can pre-order them here:

    http://www.slick-eyewear.com/product...products_id=60

For 2013, they'll be $10 each plus $2 postage in the lower 48 states.

    Order early and order often!

Well, I anticipate you'll have at least one order from Canada, so make it easier on yourself and figure out the shipping costs across the border!

I'm guessing from the checkout procedure you don't take PayPal?

The shopping cart system is through Paypal so it defaults to Paypal if you have an account but you can still use a credit card if you prefer. It's not the most user-friendly system but there are no monthly fees.
If you want to bypass the shopping cart checkout altogether, just send payment of $12 via Paypal using e-mail address "gyrodynamics@new.rr.com". Be sure to note that it's for a 2013 Calendar.

The calendars are finally here! To prove it, here's a really crappy picture of March.

All the orders received so far will be processed and mailed in the next day or two so some may get theirs by the weekend.

If you haven't ordered one yet, get busy. You can use your credit card here:
    http://www.slick-eyewear.com/product...products_id=60

Or you can just use regular old Paypal using gyrodynamics@new.rr.com.

I only have 100 to sell and when they're gone, they're gone. Get your order in soon!

Really cool! next year, how about making it available in a Monday start configuration? I am stuck with a small and boring Day-Timer, as it is the only Monday-start calander I can find.

Thanks, guys. Not sure if there will be a calendar in 2014 but if there is, I'll take it into consideration.

who the ONE GUY in the whole world was who favored that format! ;O)

I remember a few years ago the annual SCCA calendar showed up in the mail and folks were like "Wha?" in regard to the Monday on the left and Sunday on the right.

Is it some military thing, or a practice used in Central Asia (Think Borat)?

Glenn do YOU start the work week on Sunday? I'm guessing not. So the work week starts on MONDAY and the last day of the weel is SUNDAY. My time cards always ran Monday to Friday with no Sat/Sun on them. That's the way calanders were when I was growing up in the 50's and 60' (including time in the military).

Not quite sure when the NEW AGE, Tarot Card thing of Sunday starting the week thing began. Just an effort to downplay the need for going to church cause after all, the week was starting.

P.S. It might have been caused by Bill Gates when he made all computer calanders start the week on Sunday. HIS people thought it was normal cause they didn't get Sundays off to go racing!

What about if next year you just avoid the controversy by dumping the dates all together and just have more pictures on those pages?
