Zac...the car looks great...new Renault baby blue and yellow paint...gorgeous. I'm getting photos of it, I have only a few so far, but the owner is going to take a bunch of pictures; the cockpit, engine, diffuser, etc. soon. Keep an eye out for them, they are coming.

Free up some money that you have in other racecar assets, sell off your old package of whatever it is, and purchase this package which is probably a lessor price point than what you're selling your racecar package for.

We can all see here what is selling for between $30,000 - $35,000 out there. Can you honestly ask yourself that there is a better performance car; for the money, for the reliability, for the value, than these Dallara F399-F301's?

what liter is the motors and what HP do they make?

David..I'm not sure SCCA, however I did find an Apex link from a guy in Maryland whom owned the same generation of F300 car and sold it on Apex a few years ago claiming such;

As per a long-standing rule since 1974 all Formula 3 engines are 2.0 liter, 4-cylinder, normally-aspirated stock block engine with an expandable air restrictor inlet.

Older generation engines around the year 2000 put out 200 hp with a 26mm diameter air restrictor tube. Engines built around the 2007 time have 220 hp with the same 26mm sizing.

Engines today like the Fiat FPT EVO engine are putting out 235 hp with the same 26mm diameter regulation. If you open up the restrictor even more you can get 250+ hp.

The Brazilian Formula 3 Championship takes the whole air restrictor tubing out completely and a reputable team, (Equipe Cesario Formula) claims a 265 hp from their Berta engines.

Some people doing hill climbs in Europe take the whole airbox off the car entirely and probably get even higher figures from there. I don't know the numbers, but would like too.

Lest not forget that the more you open up the air restrictor and tweak the horsepower higher, the less engine life that you'll get out of it ofcourse. But F3 reliability is on your side.

And the price has fallen even further; $29,999 an INCREDIBLE price for this car with a HUGE spare parts package! A very motivated seller, times are tougher in Europe, everyone needs liquidity.

Got your message about racing in Europe etc. Myself and Kariz are in California and it is just sooooo, difficult ot get a bunch of formula car guys together out here. Not sure we can motivate folks to buy an F3 car, but these are really seriously good cars.

My 1st race in france was at Lemans, 62 F Fords! Then Magny Cours. Still have that 1987 euroswift FF.

Later I went back and did 2+ years of Lotus Caterham,
2000 to 2002. LeMans, SPA-Francorchamps!!!, Dijon-Prenois, Magny Cours, Ledenon, Nogaro, val de vienne........, we had 55 cars at M-Cours, 50 at Nogaro, 36 at SPA-Fr. Fabulous.
I met a bunch of older F3 veterens there just doing the spec caterham series for fun, even met JP Beltoise for lunch. Several of these guys are still running their Ralts in vintage F3.
I was seeing your F3 renault for sale as your message came in, I know this is a GORGEOUS well built car. I did a bit of practice in the spec F Renault in china, the same tub as F3 with a spec motor, great car and really SAFE also. Fast, easy to drive and way safer than any tube frame car.

I stay in contact with the FRD (Hong Kong) team that runs these cars and just missed their last race on Dec. 9th. I will not be buying one, but I am hoping to rent one at Zhuhai or Shanghai F1 track sometime in 2013.

the spec F renault car is tatuus car and not really a patch on a dallara f3 car
1 make formula cars are built to a price ideal for race school and 10 years of racing as they have done in UK/EEC
