It's not how fast you go.
It's how well you go fast.

I always wondered why FF wasn't in the NCF group, but looks like they went the other way. It's too bad, in my first 2 seasons there was not one yellow flag or stoppage in practice, qualifying, or race. The wings and things
    Group is always a mess.

The notes that dropped out of the black helicopter sort of said it was done just to piss Rand off.

It is because there are so few wings in regionals! If an FA ever shows up in a regional he will blow the NCFs off the track.

Unless the track is Lime Rock, and it is raining; in which case all bets are off.

I like a fast FA, FC, #SR, They pass us NCF's and there gone. But the NE NCF's can get right in the mix with mid pack wings and things and it becomes interesting in the corners.

I was looking forward in F500 to running with Rand in NARRC.He would kick my Ass but the FV 's F500's and NCF's seemed to run fine together in the past

I've always preferred running with the F500's and Vee's. It's fun to be the fast car i the group.

I am happy to run in any group. What is most important to me clean heads up racing with drivers I can trust. I will be only running my 92 Euro Swift in F1600 in 2013 and therefore mostly with wings and things. My 81 Citation Z16 will get a well deserved season or two off after finally winning the NARRC NCF Championship.

Congrats!! That's great. I've been out in the trailer myself, taking stock of what needs to be done.

This is disappointing. The F500 fields are usually small and running with Ford's made it interesting.

    Hey Will.
I watched a couple of your Vids. nice driving. It's been a long time since I've driven LRP. It looks so smooth now:-)

I'd love to dust off the old girl. I just need the time? To see you guys playing around does look good.

Is there a group left in NARRC NCF?

Not much of one at NHIS I'm afraid. LRP seems to do better.

    Hey Rob,

Thanks, and yes LRP is super smooth. We had I believe 7 or 8 NCF at the NARRC Runoffs this past year. On regukar weekends we usually get 4 or 5, but hoping it grows.

So what are lap times now? I don't even want to speculate. Mike must in the 55's AJ, Geoff and you must be close behind

seems the fast guys run 55's and 56's on the 60's. I'll be at 3-4 events this year and i hear there are 2 more cars with intentions of running. i was told Pocono is repaved and I'm planning that being my first NARRC event. there's an RCCA event the weekend before also

I knew the times would improve. Do you think it's a full second faster?

I've done the NARRC Pocono weekend, it was a blast. If JD shows up, you'll have a tussle.

    Good Luck Ric.

Ive seen mid 55s-mid 56s from Rand and Glenn Taylor consistently. My best was a 58.0. Only have 5 race weekends under my belt, but Im chipping away. Being 215 lbs driving a crossle Im always coming in 50lbs overweight at the end of the race. Im doing a set of tires a season plus some too.

Machnicholl doing 56-57, AJ was 57s. So im still on the outside looking in at the fast guys.

We were turning high 56's my qual there 57's in the race. So, it sounds as if it's about a second faster.

215Lbs, yikes. I add at least 35lbs to my car to make weight, including dual batteries.

58's seems good to me for only 5 weekends. You'll be right there this year.

Only one set of 60's? for the year?

Yeah, it's not ideal but I can squeak a season out of a set of tires. I lost a motor in the middle of last season which I was not expecting. I'm on a tight budget so I can throw stickers on the car more than once per year.
