Hey, guys. Can anyone give us a recap of the Sebring FE race? We saw that Scott won (Congrats!) but cannot find any more information.

    Thanks.

Thanks, Jerry. We did see the article but were hoping for additional details.

    Appreciate the post, though!

I don't know if you're asking about Saturday or Sunday race.. Saturday was about 3 laps of green and 30 minutes of yellow. Scott finished first, Brandon second. Brandon must have had a great re-start after the second yellow because from my view in turn 15 he had closed the gap. But racemonitor reflected better laptimes throughout for Scott. He was the only FE I saw through Saturday to run a lap in the 2:09's.

We didn't make it very far in Saturday's race: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KA-xmY6Jblw . All is good now . We all talked and chalked it up as a racing incident . I was extremely pissed after it happened, but later calmed down.

In Sunday's race, we ended up second . In all, the whole weekend was pretty much a crash fest. I think every race group had a FCY at some point, sometimes 2...in one race.

Anyway, it was nice having 10 FEs there. I hope to have strong fields in the Southeast this year.

Also, check out www.facebook.com/PaulSchneiderRacing for coverage from this past weekend. Obviously it's from our perspective. But hey, it gives you an idea of what we went though.

I've always thought the SCCA needs to do a much better job of policing driver conduct. In F1, drivers get penalities for being boneheads and causing accidents. In the SCCA, virtually everything is a "racing incident", no matter how much one driver is at fault.

The SCCA should be more strict than F1. We're all privateers doing this out of our own pockets, and nobody is racing for a cash prize. I'm careful not to hit other drivers; some other drivers aren't careful to not hit me! Not fun.
