Listed below are the Hoosier Racing Tire CENDIV Regional Championship contingency awards and eligibility requirements. For the EWC, Hoosier is more than doubling their CENDIV support program. You must be registered in the CENDIV Regional Championship to be eligible to win Hoosier tires at an EWC event.

Eight races times two classs times 3-1/2 tires times $167 per tire is over $9,000 worth of racing tires. Many thanks to Bruce Foss and all of our friends at Hoosier Racing Tire for their generous support of FF1600 and the EWC.

If you have any questions on this award program, call or e-mail Dave Garner at Hoosier Tire Midwest: (574)936-8344 or hoosiertireguy@netscape.net.

The Hoosier Tire Midwest SCCA CenDiv Contingency Program provides customers of specified dealers with the opportunity to earn Hoosier racing tires based on finishing order in Central Division Championship Regional races during 2003. In addition to compliance with the applicable SCCA competition rules and regulations in effect at the time of the event, the following Hoosier Contingency Award Program Guidelines must be adhered to:

    1. Participants must purchase a set of four (4) new Hoosier Racing Tires from a participating Hoosier Tire Midwest dealer during the 2003 season before they are eligible to receive any awards. Participants are limited to earning a maximum of six (6) tires per purchase of four (4) racing tires. Participating dealers include: Frisby Performance Tires, Hoosier Tire Midwest or Motorsport Tire.

    2. A Participant Registration form, a recent photo of the car and a copy of a receipt for four tires must be on file with the participating dealer and Hoosier Tire Midwest – Indy prior* to the date of the event in which the claiming person participates. In the absence of a form a participant may print on a sheet of paper, with a header of SCCA CenDiv Contingency Program Registration, the following information: name, social security number, complete address (street #, street name, city, state & zip code), telephone number, car model, class and size(s) & compound of the tires being replaced. In the instance that a participant purchases new Hoosiers at the event in which tires are earned, then the registering information may be mailed to Hoosier Tire Midwest with the Redemption Form and other supporting documentation.

    3. Hoosier Racing Tires must be used on all four wheel positions in any race or championship for which you are claiming an award.

    4. Hoosier Racing Tires decals (12” Contingency size) must be displayed on both sides and on the front of the vehicle. A Hoosier Racing Tire patch must be sewn on driver’s uniform.

    5. Copies of official race results and a Hoosier Tire Midwest Racing Tire Contingency Award Program Redemption form must be forwarded to Hoosier Tire Midwest-Indy within thirty (30) days after the event in which the contingency tires are earned. Contingencies will not be awarded unless the official race results and a Hoosier Tire Midwest Racing Tire Contingency Award Program Redemption form are submitted to Hoosier Tire Midwest. Both the official results and the Hoosier Tire Midwest Racing Tire Contingency Award Program Redemption form must be signed by the Chief of Timing & Scoring or the Impound Steward/ Chief Scutineer of the event.

    6. Any tires received through this program are for the recipients’ use only and are not to be sold or given to anyone else. Recipients are responsible for the costs of handling, freight, mounting and balancing. There is a $15.00 handling fee per tire to defray the cost of paperwork.

    7. To be an eligible CenDiv Championship event, three cars must start within a class before the 1st place award of one (1) tires will be authorized, and at least five (5) cars must start in a class before the 2nd place award of the value of one-half (1/2) tire will be authorized

    8. Hoosier Tire Midwest will not honor the award of any contingency tires after 11\15\2003.

    9. Limitation of availability: Hoosier Racing Tire reduced the number of tires that has been budgeted for Hoosier Tire Midwest to use for programs such as the CenDiv Regional Contingency Program. The award of tires to racers is based upon the availability of tires within the Hoosier Tire Midwest’s contingency tire budget. Once the budgeted number of tires for 2003 have been awarded, the program ends for the 2003 year. This has never happened in the four years that the program has been offered. But, there is always a first time.

    10. In the FF/CFF East vs West Challenge, Hoosier Racing Tire will match the contingency @ 1 tire for a win and 1/2 tire for a second plus add 1/2 tire for third with the same eligiblity requirments. There must be at least eight (8) starters for these additional awards to kick in. These tires are to be claimed through Hoosier Tire Midwest.

    11. Hoosier Racing Tire will provide a $500 year end award for the Formula Ford and Club Ford year end CENDIV Regional Chmpions, $250.00 for the second points positions, and $100.00 for the third points positions. All funds are to be claimed through Hoosier Racing Tire. Hoosier Racing Tire will not honor the award of any funds after 11\15\2003.
