    Default Norton Gaston

Sorry to report that Portland Or based formula prep guy Norton Gaston passed away Saturday night at the Portland Historics event at Portland Intl Raceway of an apparent heart attack. Known to us in the northwest as an absolute wizard with suspension and chassis work,a great guy gone too soon.

I met Norton for the first time a couple of months ago. Had a great conversation with him about racing and cars in general, at his shop. He was certainly willing to share information and help solve our Crossle issues. I shall treasure the insight he gave us that day. He was a very easy going guy that was easy to befriend.

Very sorry to hear he passed on, I was looking forward to a follow up conversation with him. I guess it will have to wait.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Norton's family, all the best.
