The mirrors on my Merlyn don't hold their position while on track. I'll be changing to SPA Design F1 Mirrors.
I wanted to know if people preferred the flat or convex mirrors.
Thanks!

Wouldn't race without the convex. Flat field of vision is just too small!!!!
Always convex.
We put up with large, flat mirrors in the 70's and couldn't see much around us without moving our head. You really don't want to step back in time in this case.
Thanks for the input...the mirrors on my car are flat and I agree...the field of vision is too small.
Thanks!

Angus, Bill Griffith uses convex on his FV.
Flat are = to a certain part of a Donkey, the pair of which are located at the aft end.
Also - Always run a thin bead of clear silicone around the outer surface of the lens, at the mirror body to aid in vibration dampening, and lens retainment.
I have switched to smaller, but convex mirrors and like them much better. Thanks to all for the advice.
Looks like I'm a little late to the party. Not only buy convex only, but also spend the few extra bucks and get the carbon fiber ones. They never go out of adjustment and don't crack like the plastic/nylon ones.
