Wanted To Buy set of 1.8L Audi Rods wanted

Looking to buy a set of 1.8 Litre Audi rods. These are the cap screw style rod (not a stud and nut) which I think they are in any case. Length needs to be 5.669".

If you know of a possible source or have them to sell, reply here or of easier contact me directly at r.alder@earthlink.net or call 303-981-6364.

    Thanks.

"Audi 1.8 rods" search on Ebay shows plenty of them.

I would strongly recommend Carillo rods. One of the major weak points on the 1600 8v is the stock rods. They tend to come apart in a over rev situation and usually destroying other parts . The Scat rods also look very good.

In general it doesn't get any better than Carrillos. I used the same set with the same bolts for 15 years in an SV. Periodically I would get nervous about the bolts. Call Carrillo and the first question would be did you overtourqe them, if not you are still good to go.
