    Default Veracity Racing Data

FEED BACK ON VERACITY RACING DATA

I bought a AIM system from them in February of 2009 and then needed another in July of 2009 for another F2000 car of mine that we were doing a ground-up on for a driver. The program got put on hold so the brand new system just sat in the box on the shelf. literally 13 months later then I needed the system and there was something wrong with the wire that went from the chassis loom to the data logger.

I called them up, explained the whole situation how I bought the system knew from them 13 months ago, but never used it etc, etc.

They simply said to just ship it to them and they would take a look at it. About a week later I got a call from them saying they found a problem with the way it was wired and took care of it completly for me FREE OF CHARGE!

Absoulty great people, been great to work with and will always buy data equipment or anything else I need that they have! I highly, highly, highly reccomend them!

I've had similar, multiple experiences. I wonder how they stay in business with all the time and effort they spend on customer service. They go way beyond what is expected.

+1 for Dave and Ellen. I have been dealing with them for about 5 years now. I had major issues getting a DL1 system to work in our Swift. Ellen offered to take it back, full refund, after the season was over and replaced it with an AIM system. I cannot recommend Veracity highly enough if you are looking for a data system or a digital dash.

Me too! I get a kick out of talking to Ellen on the phone. She is even more "right to the point" than I am.

    Default They are great!

I just had an AIM EVO4 system installed in my FSCCA by David and Ellen. They, From the start, were awesome. They worked with me to make sure that I got a system that would accomplish what needed. Yet, was simple enough for me to understand. They worked their schedule around mine for drop off and pickup. Worked with me to make sure that I understood the how it worked before they turned me loose.

As far as workmanship goes, they are second to none. The quality of the installation is top notch!!! They exceeded all of my expectation. They are wonderful, talented people, and the quality of their service is A1!! I would recommend them to ANYBODY for all service that they provide...I'm confident that you will be as pleased as I am.

I recently moved my EVO3 system over to a new car and had a "no connection" error. One call to David and problem solved! Thanks Veracity Racing! Ted Simmons

After its long winter nap, I recently fired up my race car and found that my Aim MXL Pista dash wouldn't display either fuel or oil pressure. I also couldn't upload or download a dash configuration. Having no better idea, I called and spoke at length with Ellen about what my problems might be. She made some suggestions, including that I call her when I was next with my car so we could diagnose the problems together. I did and ended up speaking with both her and David. The upshot of the pressure reading problem was that I'd managed when removing and reinstalling the engine to damage the teeny little wires carrying the 5 volt current to each sensor. DOH!!! That was pretty easy for them. Tougher for David was recalling that some of the really old MXL dashes wouldn't accept a firmware update and, as it turns out, they also don't work with any version of Aim's Race Studio software newer than January 2010. I reinstalled an older version of RS2 I'd kept and both my problems were solved. Ellen and David were patient and as helpful as anyone could be. I feel guilty I've spent less than $300 with them. Some day I'll buy a new dash and I can't imagine going to anyone else.

    regards, Michael Hausknecht

Excellent support, even though sale was done by CDS due to export limitations, Ellen was very helpful, and her advice was right to the point.

    Many thanks,

    Default Dave and Ellen

I agree completely with the above posts. Dave and Ellen are a true treasure for our community. Their competence and true concern that we have what we need to do our "thing" is exemplary. Certainly at the top of the best vendor list. Others should strive to even be second to Veracity. There should be no hesitation on who to call for any Data issues. My only wish is that they were neighbors that I can drink coffee with and learn more about the system I have. They have the patience to not make me feel stupid when I am obviously asking stupid questions. Well Done!

Default - and not only electronics -

A few years ago we were desperately trying to find a body source to complete the renovation of a 1980 2L CanAm Car (Ralt RT2). Problem was the original was made on the Ruttan method (no molds). Then I found the proverbial "needle in the haystack" - some molds that had been made from the original body but had been stored outside for maybe 20 years. They were in San Jose CA - I'm near Detroit - David to the rescue - skipped lunch at his daytime job - drove over to see them - took some pics and reported back "pretty rough but you can probably use them". You were so right, David, see finished renovation below. Probably need to thank Ellen as well for making him some sandwiches to eat while driving over.

And to top it off, it was a PETE LOVELY car! An icon in the sport world wide and a class act here in the Northwest for years. He took the big checkered flag earlier this year and will be sorely missed in the Vintage community where he still drove on occasion despite being well in to his 80's.

As for Ellen and Dave Ferguson, they are part of the 'treasure' collection here on the west coast. If you want coffee with them, come on out. Just don't even thing about taking them to Florida!!!!

    Default Kudos

Another thumbs up for Dave and Ellen. They have been very helpful on trying to diagnose the problems with my old Stack system. Just got the memory unit back after only a few days with a replaced battery.

Even though it can't be too profitable, helping someone with free advice on a 15 year old data system, or replacing a battery on the same thing, it was great to have someone help, without just trying to sell me the latest wiz-bang gadget on the market.

Hopefully, I'll have a functional data system this year so I can confirm the fact that I'm not a very good driver

    Default thumbs up

I was on the phone to David today after ordering a Chasecam and recorder from them.
Just have to send yet another confirmation that David and Ellen are fine people to deal with!
