    Default Radiator Cleaning ---

I found a perfect-fit oil radiator for our one-off. But. The radiator was used as a transmission cooling unit. Two questions. Given the viscosity difference in engine oil and hypoid lubricant (or whatever is used in Champ cars these days), I think I'll be okay in terms of passage size, etc., but then this:

I'm not wild about a unit that was carrying microscopic and not so microscopic transmission debris through its little nooks and crannies.

So how do you really clean these things? I think the aircraft way is ultrasonic vibes and solvents under pressure. Is the best way to clean this thing to have an aircraft house do the above?

    Thanks,

    Chris
