Thank you much Coop. The $6M dollar man seems to be a bit of a farce. I have leads out all over the place. Another week then it's time to buy a new bike and split up.

Hey Rob. I bought a brand new GSXR 1000 and parted it out. Ended up with a complete motor for $1400. Unbelievably I would have made money if I'd sold the motor. It helped that I got a smoking deal on the bike in the first place. I like the idea of knowing the entire history of the motor from new.

Ben - I essentially did that for the first engine by working out a deal with the dealer. If I don't find another one in the next few days, I will take your route.
