Must have updated bodywork? I didn't think the sidepods came until later????

I went to look at this car a year or so ago and all of the brake lines, clutch line all the linkage everything that could be removed was and scrapped and he has a pile of new tubing and the like without any fittings to reassemble. He has the body work fastenersoff or missing, we had to rig up a battery and fuel line (no fuel lines in the car) to start it and then we couldnt engage the tranny because lack of linkage etc..... The engine also had a low end growl which concerned me. Even the gauges, fire ext. and brake bias were out of the car or missing.

That's been on there for quite a while, yes, it sure looks good but, I'd wondered why it hadn't sold...now we know, The Rest Of The Story

As one sage once quipped, "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is"

The sum of the parts is worth more than the whole.

    Hmmm. Very strange.

This picture is from Jon Jeffords when he owned it. It was sold to someone who took it up to Canada and it was in pretty decent condition at the time.

I'm curious how it got down to Florida and what happened to the plumbing.

As I recall, it had an analog dash and if the motor is questionable, are the parts worth more than the whole?

The guy who owns it knows nothing about it
    Or pretends not to know.

The car used to be owned and run by the Butcher brothers, Jeff and Steve quite a few years back. They were out of the Ft. Lauderdale area. They were quite quick with the car. The car probably needed to be completely gone through at the time they sold it. When I spoke with the owner of the car a couple of years ago, it was the same guy who had bought it from the Butchers directly...very cheaply I might add. He does not appear to have much formula car knowledge or experience. It appears that he has been trying to go through the car himself. For these reasons and the price of the car, I chose to buy another.
