I came across a bulletin from Hoosier on the F1600 website under the "Competitors" tab that is at the very top of the F1600 home page. It explains the reasons why the fitment issue that has been discussed here exists for certain Swift chassis.

I commend Hoosier for taking the time to issue the statement and offer the explanation and for their invitation to discuss the issue with anyone who wishes to call them. As stated in the former thread here on Apex, the biggest problem with the fitment issue was potential lack of awareness by competitors about the issue. Between the Apex discussion and Hoosier's statement, everybody should now be aware of the issue and be able to make necessary adjustments to avoid any on-track problems.
