    Default '98 Roll Hoop

Anyone have an original '98 Van Diemen roll hoop?

Default Dimensions, data on same ---

-- that is, does anyone know the tube-sizes (and wall thicknesses), and the thickness of the steel sheet that covers the two tubes?

Also, anyone know the approximate radius of the top bends in the two tubes?

    Thank you,

    Chris Crowe

This hoop is legal in FC only to my knowledge.
It has 1" tube for the front and rear "hoops" that comprise the roll bar.

I had to replace this one w/ the newer spec 1 and 3/8" OD tube from a later model FC in order to have my FC reomologated to an FB.

Any car being rehomologated needs to meet the newer standard.

I do not know the thickness of the sheet wrap, but it sounds pretty thin when flicked with a finger. My inner ear tells me something around .064?

    Default VD Hoop

Not FC legal either with 1"hoops - some of these Pro hoops slipped into the Club ranks.
