Two 2L Pinto motor

I have two 2L Pinto motors for sale, both iron heads.

Motor #1 - Elite motor w/ Quicksilver intake. Recent F2000 motor, 4th fastest in practice on Saturday @ Road Atlanta, finished 7th. New SCCA cam and lightened flywheel, motor complete w/ oil pump system and 5" clutch. Motor has two F2000 weekends on it since top end rebuild and dyno @148hp, believe bottom end has Runoffs and 4 race weekends. $3,900

Motor #2 - Elite motor, backup motor we purchased used and ran over the winter for 2 race weekends. Complete w/ oil pump system, carb and linkage, clutch & pressure plate. Missing water intake piece and engine mount. I have various engine mounts will send with motor but not sure what they fit. Lightened flywheel, but older cam. $2,500

Just in case it isn't clear. These two engines are the engines that Work Racing started the 2010 F2000 CS campaign on. The one with the new cam took me to two top ten finishes. Good running!

Any idea what the cost would be to ship a motor to the San Diego area??? Weight and size? Crate available?

I have an engine crate for the $4,500 engine, it is 26" x 23" x 30" my guess is 300 pounds engine & crate. Zip code is 44443.

my guess is about $450. My last engine to go from SoCal to Portland was $300 each way, picked up and received at a business via UPS freight.

What flywheel do you have in these engines? The 10-1/2 pound Elite flywheel or a lightened original flywheel - usually 12 1/2 lbs +-? I know you cant get the original flywheels ground and balanced much below 12-1/2 lbs. I am curious because I did run both and I found the 2 lbs did make a difference ...I am interested in one of the two engines. Is the Cam an Ivey purchased cam? What are your reduced prices if I may ask?

The flywheels are original, lightened by Elite. The cam was purchased and installed by Elite. Just lowered prices this week.

I have never weighted them, I don't know where your information on the minimum weight for original vs new came from so I can't speak to how accurate it is. You might call Elite and ask them what they cut original flywheels down to, weight wise, because they did these. The prices are changed in the original post above. Engine 1 reduced form $4500 to $3900, Engine 2 reduced from $3000 to $2500

Late to the party, but the cast iron flywheels are easier to bring down to the minimum than the Ford Motorsport steel flywheels.
