Guys,
What is a good lap time for FA in the track's current configuration?
Many thanks,
Bill

Good? 48 sec.
Lap Record? 47.024 - John Thompson this year.
Has Lime Rock been changed from the layout used in the 90s? Do they still use the chicane?
Thanks,
Steve O'Hara
There are two chicanes now - one on the uphill, and one at West Bend.
SCCA doesn't usually use either.
ALMS used both.
It depends on the sanctioning body.
The 'classic' track is the same as it's been for a long time - just smoother.

Wow that's moving!!! Congrats Paul! Glad to see you got the car back together after the Glen weekend...

It was a VERY impressive drive by Paul! It only took 16 laps for him to lap the entire field in a 32 lap race so he could have theoretically lapped the entire field twice! The checkered flag was thrown 4 laps premature because of an issue in big bend so we will never know.
Ingredients: Nothing but Barley, Hops, Water & Yeast.
Congratulations Paul!

Thanks guys! Unfortunately, I could probably have gone faster but I had a vibration so bad I could hardly see. Turns out the rear tires were mounted with the wheel weights 180 degrees from where they should have been. Pretty sure the tires moved on the wheels while on the track because it wasn't there in warmups.
We've only done 2 regionals ever and both were the NARRC runoffs. Great people, cool cars and great track (as long as we keep running Lime Rock Classic and not the new version with all that slow stuff!)
Paul
Great Run Paul. Agree with classic LRP.
Congrats Paul.
I'd be happy to break 49 seconds with my old bomb!
