Mygale FC Moves to FRCCA

Ryan Smith will pick up his newly purchased 2001 Mygale FC on October 25. This will replace his 1985 Reynard FC and will be racing with the FRCCA in 2011. We are pretty excited about the new car and continuing to race with the great people and competitors at FRCCA. Now all he needs to do is upgrade his pitcrew. That may be tough. It can be hard to fire your old man.

Hi Jason,

Great job this weekend. I think you and Ryan are definitely going to have a whole lot of fun next year. If Andy picks up a FC this winter like he hopes to do and we get the rest of the guys back including the Old School Racing FC's, John, Stephen, Ian and maybe Greg H, John B and others that have been out but I can't think of right now it could be a great year for FC at FRCCA. We could regularly have 8 car fields and more at the most popular events. This class is growing and hopefully the higher participation will bring in even more.

It was fun seeing the growing field of F/C cars. Stephen Garito sure keeps a clean and fast racecar; his racing partner, Vinnie Delgetta was back from Italy but had to attend a wedding. 2011 sure looks like it is shaping up to be a good season for the F/C class. I count 9 coming to all the races with about 4 more attending some of the events. Formula Race Car Club of America where formula cars are WELCOMED.
