    Default Beaverun National

    Finshing order:

    1.) Rick Shields / VDF / +20 seconds over 2nd
    2.) Phil McSherry / Mysterian M-2
    3.) Dave Satterley /Protoform P-2
    4.) Curt Bennett / Protoform P-1
    5.) Greg Rice / Mysterian M-2
6.) Gary Blanarik / Silver Bullet Eins / DNF

Rick Shields was on the pole with Gary next to him at the start. Rick held the
position through turn one and led throughout the race finshing +20 seconds
over the second place car. Gary B. was hit by Greg Rice at turn 10 while battling for 2nd and DNF'd due to a broken steering box. Greg was able to continue but finished many laps down due the toe of his vee being knocked about when he hit Gary etc..The race
of the day was between McSherry, Satterley, and Bennett for 3rd place. They traded
positions many times during the race until Curt Bennett fell off the pace late in the
race due to unknown reasons. It was good to see everyone again and we couldn't have
    asked for better weather.

Yeah, ruined a good chance for Gary and I to give Rick a good battle for the win. We actually were not battling with each other but got our signals crossed and trashed our cars in the process. Congratulations Rick!
