    Default '95 Citation FST Conversion

Again, not my car. In looking at his ad on SRacing.com, the guy has lowered his asking price to $8,500. The car is currently in VA. I think it is still a wet sump car, put dry sump conversion is $500 to $700.

    Bill:

This is my old car that Dion Dunne and myself converted back in 06'. It will
accept a driver up to 6'2"+ and around 205lbs. with room to spare. It was
originally run in the S.E. by Pierre Des Pardin (sp?) and once held the Nat'l
track record at Daytona so it can be made to go fast. Thanks!

    Default Mark's old fst

I agree with both Bill and Mark. This car can be very fast. If you pay retail for all the FST conversion parts and some of these like an SR motor are great bargains you'll be paying close to the asking price for this baby. And its built and mostly ready to go.

I've recommended it to at least two serious would be's. Someone should snap it up. Same is true for the Caracal D from Pittsburg. That could be a flyer too and at only 9.5K.

I called Glen (current owner) a couple of days ago to ask about the car. Turns out it has a brand spankin' new SR engine (dyno time only) and a new FST spec longbox. His asking price is $8,500. The engine and trans alone are over $5k. This car is a bargain and it fits large drivers.

His reason for selling is he is getting out of racing

    Bill / Robert:

The car located in Pittsburg was also my car in the late 90's. I purchased it
from Bob Shaw of Macon, Ga and only raced it as a Vee for a year or two.
I didn't do the conversion on this one, as it was Jim Schings and his crew
who did the work for the current owner.

Bill: I plan to run FST again in the future once my son is finished with college
etc.... I didn't leave because of anyone but rather due to the fact that
all my friends who ran FST retired or moved away from my area. So once
I have room / money for two cars, I'll add a FST to the stable.

    Thanks!
