iRacing at the Glen with the Star Mazda

Private iRacing Session: Thursday, 6/10/2010 at 8 pm EST

In preparation for the Watkin's Glen double national next month, I'm hosting a private iRacing session consisting of a 50 minute practice session starting at 8 pm EST followed by a 4 lap qualifying session and a 14 lap race with a rolling start. The car will be the Star Mazda and the password will be sccaglen. There will be unlimited tows and no double yellow periods. Hope everyone with iRacing joins the session!

I just figured out how to have a timed qualifying session vs. laps so I'm going to set it up so that we have a 20 minute qualifying session. I'm trying to set it up so that it is close to what we experience at an SCCA weekend. Please let me know if you have an interest in running this Thursday. I will host more sessions if there is a good turn out. Is the Star Mazda car acceptable or is the Skippy preferred?

I may be able to run with you, but it's a bit early for me. I don't really get a chance to run any laps until the kids are down for the night (9pm CST).

I plan on attending your session Thursday night, and know of one other who will participate. I assume this is the full course course with the inner loop (believe iRacing calls this config "boot") ???

I did some testing there the other night... its pretty fast (and fun !) in the Star Mazda, lots of 3rd-5th gear corners !

Yes, you are correct. We will be running the "boot" configuration with the inner loop. Glad you guys are going to make it!
