Default rFactor - Set Max RPM for vehicle??

I've spent several HOURS looking on line and still can't find out exactly WHERE the engine Max RPM is set! I'm using the FV mod (SCCAFV w/Slicks) and the engine is limited to 6500 RPM. That's just fine for Vintage racing (maybe a bit high actually), but not adequate for full national level testing. I would like for my car to mimic my actual 'on the track' experience as closely as possible. *HOW* do I change that limit? I've read over the 'ini', 'hdv', 'veh' files (as well as every other non binary file) and all the docs I can find, but the game and garage limit still stays FIXED at 6500...

    I must be BLIND!!
