    Default ancient history but...

    as i recall on my Mk.5 i formed a template from some cardboard in the pattern of the recessed body work in that area and then had a plexiglass shop cut a "smoked" sheet to match..then just matched up the holes and fastened with some fancy aircraft machine screws and ny-locs...coolest part on my whole car LOL
