On page ix there is this statement: NOTE: Italicized text indicates a change or an amendment has been made.

Now, this doesn't mean that every single word change is italicized. It means actual rules changes are italicized. This means that no attempt was made to show that things moved. Also, in a case like the addition of the Fit engine to FF, the section does not appear in italics since it all would have been - that would have just made it harder to read.

There are very few substantive changes in the Sporting Regulations. This is mainly a restructuring to make them more accessible.

There are a couple of changes which might be of interest (besides the Runoffs qualifying rule change already discussed):

    1. The 120% rule is now available for all events, not just Nationals (see 6.4.2.E). Again, it's at the discretion of the Chief Steward, and is applied by class, not by race group.

Even within a class, 120% is an enormous differential. At Summit Point, that's the difference between a 1:15 (96mph average speed) and a 1:30 (80mph).

    2. The procedure for how a race is restarted is simplified and clarified (see 6.8).

    Default Nice cover

    Cooper and who else?

Funny to see the 'almost controversial' wheels on the cover.

Pretty sure the bridge and starter is from RA Runoffs, any idea when and where the pic of the cars is from?
