    For Sale Caracal FST

Caracal frame modified and run in FST (actually FS when it ran). Car ran a couple of years in FST then the previous owner, being a rotary guy put a Mazda motor in it and ran for about a year. He decided to go Formula Mazda so I bought the car sans the engine and began putting it back to an FST. Not much needed to be done. Cut off the Mazda mounts and redo the plumbing. i did not fit in the car so I had the cockpit widened to just about 19 inches. I'm 6'0 and 230# and I fit pretty well.
You will need a race prep motor, exhaust primaries (a SS Roxannes 4-2-1 collector is included) a new set of belts and a little fiberglass work to be track ready.
    Complete logs back to 1982
Car also comes with two sets of slicks, plus two new rears, and tow sets of rains all mounted. Also lots of spares.
    $3100 takes it all

    Default So Far Away

Why are the deals always so far away! Don't suppose you are coming to Florida for the winter?

After a several year layoff from racing I decided to get back to the track and bought this car to do so. Since I purchased the car it has become apparent that I have as little time to pursue the interest as i did when I was forced to quit several years ago. The car has pretty much sat in the corner and i piddle with it when i can but I know I will likely not get it out on the track and there is no reason to keep it.
I worked all but one race weekend last summer and can not see that changing any time soon.
Someone else might as well enjoy it.

Default Hope to see you soon

    Chris,

I wish I could say I will see you at Grattan in May, but traditions have changed. Hopefully NE & Cen-Div get their schedules posted soon so we can put the series together. If you need any help feel free to contact me as well.

Thanks Robert and Carl, I was a little dissapointed to see the Grattan Regional changed to a National because I always tried to make that race in my vee. I'm sure I will have a few questions because of some changes that will need to be made to the car. I will post them on the main board.

    Chris,

Congrats on your purchase. I think you will find that they are a blast to drive compared to the vee and will be glad you went in that direction.

Has anyone seen the Great lakes Schedual? I have not seen it in print, I heard the rumor about the Grattan weekend going to a National, is that now official?
