Default In Car Video DVR - what's the latest/greatest?

My 5 year old Panasonic SD camcorder bit the dust @ Homestead last weekend so I'm now in the market for a replacement. Anyone have some recent experience with some of the new mini DVR's that have come on the market in the past few years? Here's a few I've been looking at:

    Thanks!

Extensive use with a POV. Best camera out there. All in one, can lock the keys, and record by hitting a remote.

How did you mount the camera on the car? Did you use their mount kit?

It was on the roll bar mount of an F2000, but they have a kit for an FE i believe. Jim Gustafson is an Apexspeed member and knows alot more than I do. Camera is second to none; others under same tent switched from 2 different kinds to POV.

This looks like a worthy ChaseCam competitor

Is also MPEG2 like the ChaseCam & the Panasonic SV-AV100 you were using.

I was using an RCA camera/lipstick cam system and picked up a ContourHD to try. Nice, simple little unit that should be relatively simple to use with less chance for errors to occur.

Nothing beats $150 for an SV-AV100 for MPEG2 quality. Thanks for the tip last year, Tim! Sure, it's not as polished of a system as the purpose built systems, but it's a hell of a lot cheaper!
