stack st8100 dash with dead battery

Looking for a st8100 dash display with a dead battery gathering dust on your shelf because you can't bear to throw it away but don't want to spend the 200 to have the battery replaced.

I've sourced the battery and think I can resurrect them, but don't want to use my (currently) working one as a guinea pig.

If someone is interested in resurrecting theirs, send it out, I'll buy the battery and attempt to remove and replace. If it works, I'll just charge for the price of the parts (way less than what stack charges) and shipping back to you.
