Thanks. I will be heading out to NJMP this wekend and am hoping to talk to some people and see some cars out there. I understand your point with running out of a prep shop but just don't know if the funds are there since I hear that can be quite costly (never realy talked to anyone about this though). Does GTP have a website to contact Glenn and I can find out more?
Will any of you be at NJMP this weekend? If so do you mind if I stop over? At some point I was thinking of maybe helping someone crew to get a feel for whats going on but I guess I will have to wait to meet someone who would be willing to work with a newbie like myself. Although I am a totaly capable person (physically and mechanically) I just don't have a background in this. I spent about 15 great years racing motorcycles offroad and a few stints drag racing motorcycles in my early teens but am ready for the change to 4 wheels.

Well enough of me rambling, this is an F2000 forum so once again this past weekend at the Glenn was a blast and the F2000 Series races were some of the most exciting! Great job to all the drivers and teams.

    Default GTP

Give Glenn a call - 603 370 0746. He doesn't have a web site - as good as he is with cars, he's not quite so good with computers.

I don't think that anyone's going to NJMP - getting ready to go to Summit Point with the Pro series.

Hey Mike - Was there an official winner declared?

Results will be made official on, if not before, this coming weekend.

    Jason,

Phil Lombardi was the first one across the finish line & received the trophy in Winner's Circle. Based on events during the race, some teams protested the outcome. Officials are reviewing photos & video.

Was it lap traffic and yellows that messed things up or other events? Seems like no one wants to say.

    Jason,

Apparently when the Big Kahuna the Grand PooBha the Fairless Leader speaks people listen. I’m sure what can be said will be said….then again maybe nothing at all, which would be just fine.
