Reynard nose designs

Question I have is if I have a 'needle' nose design, can I use a Pro Spec design without changing the mounting bracket as well? Do they mount so the wings are in the same longitudinal location? Which design is better in terms of ground clearance, ground effect and down force and also adjustability?
