Thread: Minimum weights

    Since the FC guys are having an active discussion on a proposal to raise the minumum weight for their class... I propose we raise the minimum weight for the CFC class to 1241 and 1/2 lbs.
    This is a scientifically determined number based on the average of the last 6 times my car was weighed at impound.
    I'm sure Court Dallis will vote for this.
    If passed, I will not have to remove my 6-pack CD changer, and the heads up GPS monitor that shows me which way to turn next.

    Mike, while that would be an advantage for you it would be a disadvantage for some rich boy who can't leave the Oreo's alone but still wants to drive in Pro and be competetive in regional racing. Therefore I'm sure that all the accesories you mentioned will probably be allowed, you will not be allowed to use street level detail on course on the GPS. Look for details in next Fasttrack.

    Tab,
    I wonder if a 2001 VD would be legal weight if they took out the radios, LCD displays, data acquisition gear, etc. that we can't afford anyway.
