Atlanta's seasonal temperatures means probably another month before I'll have it finished, so the rest of you guys with the interesting FF's show us your stuff.

I just recieved an email from Jamie Britnell (Ontario Canada). He is bringing two vintage Hawkes and likely a dviver for the second car. Knowing Jamie he will enter every class he can.

If you are looking for a rig to rent to haul quite a few cars, get in touch with Bruce Miller (BRM Motorsports) on Long Island, he has a a semi and trailer that can fit at least 5 cars, probably more. If its available in July Bruce could haul the cars out there and back. No idea what the price would be.

Also, at the Lime Rock NARRCs, Todd McAfee said he might try to put together a group transport from up in the Boston area.

    Take care.

Tom and all that contacted me about group transport to the 40th. It's not looking good as the transporter will not be back from the previous weekend in time to load and get to RA by Thursday. I'm going to get some prices from commercial transporters and post on the "group transport" thread soon.

About time Bob! I was waiting for you to throw your hat in the ring!

The list is up to 50 FFs already, almost 50 CFs, plus the VFFs, and there are dozens of others whom I have heard through the grape vine are going but havent posted here yet. This is going to be huge. Can't wait, only 5 months to go.

Default who's going to the 40th

    Hi Mark:
Well Done! It's good to hear of another PRS on the roster.
If Mike Scanlan can get his restoration finished in time then there will be three of us.
I've never seen any posts from you that mentioned you own the marque. How long have you had the car and what's it's history?
    Regards,

The list is now over 100 cars and still growing. I went through it today and was amazed at the variety of cars that will be there, many I have never seen and many are one of only a few of their kind ever built. Here's a quick rundown of all the different makes that just from our Apex posts should be there, I count 26 different makes so far:

    "Common Makes"

    Lola

    VanDiemen

    Swift

    Reynard

    Crossle

    PRS

    Zink

    Tiga

    Piper

    Hawke

    Royale

    Caldwell

    Lotus

    "Rarely Seen"

    Gemini

    Ray

    Viking

    Mondiale

    Merlyn

    Alexis

    ADF

    "Extremely Rare"

    Sauce (1 of 1?)

    Stohr (1 of 2 built)

    Hayashi (the only FF Hayashi)

    Bowman (the only FF Bowman)

Ferret (2 of 5 built will be there)

    Jamun (never seen one)

I am sure we will also see some Citations there and also hopefully a Vector or two.

    Default More makes?

    Thanks Tom,
That reminds me to contact a Vector driver who runs OFFC a couple of times each season.

Also went to visit a friend last Sunday who was putting together a brand new "out of the box" Kent powered Mygale. All being well, it should make the 40th.

    Default McNamara FF

ALl of this talk about the variety of cars got me hunting for some old pics. Probably 20 years ago. Wonder if this car will be there? The first race car I ever drove. My reward for working on the car was 10 laps during the lunch time touring session at the Chicago Historics. At the time I think there were 2 of these around. 1970-71 vintage?

Finding "lost" cars could be an entirely new thread!
