    Default Meaball

I noticed just now that the tip associated with the Black and Orange flag is called a Meaball.

Yes, a long standing nickname. But if you have a Chief of Flags who's really "in to it" he will correct you every time you say that. It's the "Mechanical Black Flag". But that's slightly too long for use on the Forum.

You won't hear "meat ball" on our radio net. Once a day perhaps and then the lecture between sessions

Unless, your chief is really "into it" and you happen to race with an Itallian marque club. Which is where I first heard the phrase.

MAMA-MIA ! I just figured out what the topic is about.

    There's Mia Copa
    There's Mia Farrow

    But no Meaball

I do plan on making Italian sausage, white onion and green pepper sandwich's on sour dough rolls for dinner tomorrow night.

Let's not forget "Meatball" Pappy Boyington's pitbull mascot.

The rollover title of the broken car flag graphic has a typo that was corrected (thanks), just to clear up any confusion that still may be out there after reading this rather odd thread.
