    Default LOLA T-540 WHEELS

I am looking for one 13 x 5.5 Revolution 4-spoke wheel (bolt circle = 4.25 inches, backspace = 2.5 inches) to complete a set for my Lola. Alternatively, I'll consider a complete set of four alloy wheels of any make with this bolt circle and backspace.

    Default BUMP

I think I have found two "Minilite" wheels but I still don't have a complete third set. So now I am looking for one Revolution, two Minilites, or four of anything.

Default SANTA DID NOT LEAVE A WHEEL...

...under the Christmas tree. With seven (7) Revolutions and six (6) Minilites, I still don't have a matching third set for next year's FF40th.

If you have one (1) Revolution 4-spoke wheel, two (2) Minilite 8-spoke wheels, or a set of four (4) 13 X 5.5 alloy wheels of any make with 4.25 inch bolt circle and 2.5 inch backspace, please contact me.

I'll trade wheels to complete a full set.

    Default Backspacing

It's too bad you need 2.5" backspacing. I have a set of minilites with 3.5" backspacing.

I think everyone who has part sets of Lola Revolutions should pool them all together, set a price buy/sell of $100 per wheel, amalgamate all the possible full sets and draw for them. 3/4 of you will end up getting full sets back for $100 incremental and 1/4 of you will end up with no wheels and $300.

I'm just sayin...there's a lot of guys with 3 wheels who need a 4th, and no one with one wheel to sell...

    Default ???

    Pete:

Thanks for the offer but your deal does not help me. I would still not have three matching sets of wheels. As is it right now, I can make up a mixed third set. Your offer does not improve that situation.

    Default minilites

    Steve,
I may have what you need, could you send a picture of yours so I can be sure my minds eye recognizes them as what I may have 3 of? Paying particular attention to the bolt holes, sine I'm sure mine have tapered recesses.

    Default MINILITE PHOTOS

    J.D.

Thanks for the follow up. Attached are two photos of my "Minilite" wheels, one from the front and one from the back. They do indeed have tapered attachment recesses. The lug nuts and washers are heavily beveled. Do you have any extra lug nuts and washers as well?

Give me the weekend to look around, take some measurements and pics to be sure we're good.

    Default minilites

Steve, I found the wheels but they are VW type III bolt pattern, 130mm or roughly 5 1/8 inches, they have a backspace of 2.75 inches.
I have 3 good and one broken but repair started, needs machining to finish. They were part of the spares I received with the car, I know these don't help you Steve, but someone else may be interested.

    Default J.D. + PK = Deal?

    J.D.

Thanks again for trying. Please give my friend Phil Kingham first shot at what you have.

I do have some good news. Jack Bartelt just shipped me two repairable Revolutions in the correct size. The deal is that I fix both and then ship one back to Jack. If all goes to plan, the repaired Revolution will complete my second set.

    JD,

They look like the set that came with my car. I believe they were made by Sterling, not Minilite. Steve Lathrop might be able to fill you in.
