Listening to SCCA Live Audio, it sounded like a pretty close, entertaining race. Much better than expected from only nine competitors.

Congrats to FA National Champ David Grant. Also, congrats to Wilcox for his third place finish in his 20 year old Swift DB4......only 1.8 seconds behind the winner! Nice job.

Rick, we DB4 owners have something to smile about don't we? It's great to see Dave Wilcox do so well. It speaks volumes about Dave Bruns, the designer, when a twenty year old DB4 finishes third and a DB6 wins FF. These are two very old cars.

I agree, Jim......Wilcox's 3rd place finish definitely brought a smile to the face of this DB4 owner! David Bruns designed the DB4 around 1987 or so, and today Wilcox was turning lap times equal to Grant and Swan in their Swift 014's -- a great testiment to the DB4 design and to Wilcox and his team. Wouldn't you love to see some in-car video from Wilcox's car???

Was there a significant drop in the lap times in CSR/DSR? F/A used to be the fastest of the SCCA weekend, looking at the results puts DSR in the top spot this year.
keep i mind that for whatever reason the FA times were 2 seconds slower this year then last. However if you look at the power to weight ratios it isnt all that much of a surprise that the DSR's are in the FA neighborhood.

I must give max kudos to the Wilcox team.....If I read correctly he was .004 seconds slower than the fastest race lap.
That is a substantial accomplisment against three of the best 014's in the country. Big tip of the hat.
