I'm looking to organize an event at our Dover, NJ facility for the Apex/Formula Club racing community in the Tri-State area. Driving Impressions is a safety equipment warehouse, and have their own brand of motorsport safety equipment, items such as Nomex racing Gloves, nomex Shoes, nomex undergarments, as well as Arai/HJC/Zamp helmets, Hans Devices, etc. Our Warehouse/showroom/office is in Dover NJ, and we also have the track store at Lime Rock Park.
I'm thinking about having Formula car Aftermarket Vendors/products present, showing off some products, and have some Formula cars on display . We have a lot of parking area available, both behind and in front of the building. You can walk through the showroom into the warehouse, to the back, and there is a very large area in the warehouse where the event could be held. Large area we can have cars park directly behind the warehouse as well.
We'll get some food (pizza, subs, etc), and have a good time.
Maybe even some seminars on safety equipment by Bob Zecca, a raffle for charity, featured vendor products, giveaways, etc.
Interested? If so, how soon would people be interested in having an event?
Interested in more than one event this fall/winter/spring?
I'm thinking maybe once the summer cools down, and once the fall comes we can set it up for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
I'm creating an events venue in our warehouse, and I'm looking to have many events here in the Fall/winter/Spring before race season gets back into full swing.
