Ladies & Gentleman,

If you are not up to speed on things here in the Central Florida Region, the powers that be have decided to cancel the Daytona National that runs on the first weekend of May. If any of you have, or are planning to attend this event, you need to e-mail the following people ASAP before the schedule is finalized. As we speak the event has been changed to a REGIONAL/ECR, but it has not been finalized. To make a long story short, I have also posted a summary of information to put everyone on the same page, titled "Racers Rebuttal". This has been going on for about two weeks as it was conveniently flown under the radar with no time for anybody to react. If anyone has a question, you may use the e-mail address on the forum to contact me. We have done our research and there is no reason to cancel the event based on car counts and finances. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, even if you aren't a CFR member, but race in the SEDiv, or would like to race at Daytona under a National program, please contact these people before its to late. Remember, this National date WILL be lost to another region in the SEDiv, as has been discussed after this weekends RE meeting IN ATL....once it's gone, its gone. All you have to do is copy and paste these in your e-mail and send it out- SAVE DAYTONA NATIONAL

Just wanted to let you know that I have wriiten a polite letter to the powers that be. Tried to paste it here but to no avail . I do also intend to talk to these folks in person at the upcoming Daytona race ,which by the way we are running as a Daytona National test .
Hopefully we can change this historic move
