    Default Wanted: Wheel Hubs

We are assembling 10 FSCCA cars and Van Diemen has come up short 5 sets of hubs (20 total). Every other missing part has an ETA but the hubs are just "to be announced" which from my experience means "back-ordered".

Anyway, if anyone has absolutely anything laying around, I might be interested.
I'm not 100% at the moment, just sorta feeling for what's out there - maybe someone this side of the pond makes them?

    Cheers.

    Very cool!

However, I have to say that those wheels/tires really make the FE look amusing.

I'd love to know what the lap time differences and longevity would be between those tires and our Hoosiers.

Are you guys running the same engine as the FE cars?

I agree that the wheels are kinda depressing, but there were lots left over from the old Reynards they used to use up there so I guess it was a cost cutting measure (makes sense).
And yes, they do still use the FE engine/gearbox.

    Default Re hubs

You may want to try Rogers ProtoFab in Trenton. He may be able to make you some up if you have one for reference. www.rogersprotofab.com

The shop currently sends out the hubs to be machined (hub adapters installed/faces milled to suit the "funny looking wheels") by a shop in Trenton, and I'm assuming that the shop is probably the same as the one mentioned above.

I think Jamie (Bridgestone Racing Academy shop head honcho) will be looking for something more immediate and off-the-shelf in lieu of getting custom hubs milled.

Thanks for the link though, I was looking for it for a while.

    Cheers.
