Default Hans and seat/head rest ?

Ordered Hans and hoping my work on headrest was not a waste of time. I have Steve Stadels belt bracket for hans , wondering if Hans is going to rub on headrest or will it be just under headrest and helmet still able to rest on the head rest. I have builtup headrest somewhat with highdensity foam. Just wondering what you guys have run across when getting in the car with the Hans on.

    Thanks Ed

    Ed,
It depends on how high up you sit in the car. I'm 6'3 and sit a little higher and the hans hits the lower part of the headrest. I thinned out the padding on the headrest to make the angle of the hans feel comfortable. If you're shorter or sit lower in the car the hans should ride below the headrest.

I removed mine and replaced with GCR-legal 6x6 Ethafoam.

You might want to remove the side bolsters. I replaced with Sorbothane.
