    Default 30mpg tow vehicle

This does require a bit more work but you were going to nut & bolt anyway, right?
Easily fit your car, all parts, 1 set of wheels and a buddy and get 30mpg on the way to & from the track. See? Racing can be cheap.

I was always under the impression the coolers were to be packed and loaded prior to the car being loaded...and where is it you plan on putting you little pink pit cart. Your backdrop for the photo clearly indicates that more preparation is needed prior to leaving for the track!

Can you post your load calculations on the A, B, and C pillars? Also, I assume the suspension will have anti-droop front and rear when the car is completed?

You'll have one set of dry's on the car when you haul it right? So, just convert the 'tow vehicle' to use a set of rains getting to and from the track. Saves trunk space for more beer.

Sean, another added benefit, the tow vehicle doubles as a wind tunnel. If you sit in the race car on the way to the track you can get some nifty aerodynamic data.

Default 30 MPG - well almost

    all,

I do get 23 mpg towing my 90 Reyanrd CFC and most all my ftuff in an open trailer behind a 2003 VW Passat Wagon V6 5 Speed and have done so since 2003. Hills and stop and go traffic are isssues but she tows pretty good at 65-70 MPH. Shows what can be done when your choices are limited. Oh, I have 70K miles on the car now.

Guys- this frame is light... 80lbs? I picked it up and put it on the roof myself**. After its blasted it will go back on the roof for a trip to Athens (Comprent) where they will inspect for cracks and weld-on a couple little brackets.
Then back on the roof for a trip to Miller's to make the frame pretty again.

Then, I'll be putting it all back together... what else? No more blue & yellow. Time for a change.

I would get around 36mpg driving to the races with this rig, I just had to deal with all the smart A** remarks.

Default Here's another 30 MPG Tow Vech

My Crew Chief's New car being used to transport a frame. I'm sure pretty close to 30MPG... I think he had the car a week before it was put into hauling duty.
