Association ???

From someone on the outside soon to be involved I would like to know the thoughts of forming an association with one voice acting on behalf of this class.
From what I can see there's alot of different discusions and view points. I beleive it would be a healthy move for the growth and rules stability of this class. Any membership dues can be used to fund towfunds trophies or anyway that could help expand this great calss

A group of us got together and worked on creating the rules prior to the existance of FB... the package definately needed refinement, but it got us where we are. I'd say the process took a year or so and involved many emails, conference calls, etc.

Some of the same group have joined to discuss the future of the class and if any rule changes or additions should be recomended. None of us have a vested interest other than the value of our cars- we all have the desire to do whats best for current or future owners and the success of the class. One voice? Nah. Not even in our group. We will have to come to a consensus that most owners can live with that still attracts builders and buyers. Things like performance, costs, safety, stability, etc are all paramount.

Sean says it better than I could... We'll never have consensus, so one person can never accomplish it. We've struggled amongst ourselves for a while now... generally speaking, our visions have been pretty close. It's the execution of that vision which differs. The way I figure it, if all of us can agree to something, it's probably reasonable.
