The generosity and helpfulness between front running teams is pretty amazing.

but... be careful where you park at the Mexican restaurant in Lexington.

Lap times during Sunday's "race" were interesting...

Almost 3 seconds/lap difference between Zetec best time and Pinto best time on Sunday with everyone on cold tires due to few green laps (Saturday, it was only ~1.2 seconds with everyone having run enough under green to warm up the tires), again confirming that if cornering speeds are low, the Zetec has a HUGE advantage in acceleration.

    Default Great shots

Ulrich Vassmer is a much better photog than I. What is real neat is that at the end of each weekend he hands me a CD with pictures to share with you folks. 135 shots in this CD. No I won't post them all.

They do all the crazy stuff when I'm not around..... Now you know why we say "pissa" in these parts.... (though leave it to the canadian to follow through...)

Yes - a big thanks to Rob and Bill.... St Clair rocks.

I need to thank Tom at PI for spending 2 days working on the car - We finally had data for the first time this year on Sunday too..........

I think we finally righted the boat.... not a moment too soon......... I hope. Even my ego is ready to kick back into action.

Probably sounds strange but its been a struggle all year. Its down to the wire - the way it should be I suppose....... Should be fun.

    Dave -

I would contest that the larger discrepency in lap times between the zetecss at the front of the field and the pintos in mid-pack had more to do with traffic. I bet 95% of those fast times were the last lap of the race and there was plenty of dicing going on. Just look at Tim's (saturday racewinner) best lap in the Sunday race.

So is it true that Rand is going to run Lime Rock counterclockwise for the final race of the season to prevent any home field advantage?
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Great idea. They should have done that at Mid-ohio.

No argument - obviously that was a factor.

With the chicane, that would be a fun track. It would be even more fun without the chicane except you would have a LOT of cars in the Husotonic river!
