It was a fun FC race to watch.

Rob Nicholas qualified 1st with VD on Hankooks 1:27.42
Rossella just behind with TATUUS on GY 1:27.520
Rob Poma with 97 VD 1:28.881
Vaugh Horvath VD 1:29.858
James Belay VD 1:30.164
Glennon Reidler VD zetec/FC 1:31.568

Rossella chased Rob the whole race.
With one lap to go she pulled off the prettiest pass into T1.
She led to T10a, where her right rear wheel nut came very loose. So loose the drive pins spun inside the wheel. Saved by the safety pin. She coasted very slowly (no rear wheel drive) up the hill and down to start finish, only to have Horvath squeak by for second.
She did have the fastest lap of the race with her monoshock Tatuus 1:28.000. (Not a new FC record.) She was very pleased with her drive. A national win was 2 turns away... for the want of a wheel nut.

I think there are a lot of details about this being missed here that should be mentioned. This is the first FC National win with a Zetec that I know of(first win period in scca?). It was done on Hankook Pro Series tires which are much slower than sticky Gy's or Hoosiers. Don't know if Rob's been to RA before or not. This was their first time out since switching over from a Pinto. Kevin can fill in the gory details about that if he wishes. So congrats to Rob and Kevin.

So was he running the 8 and 10 inch rims with the pro-series tires? And if so is that legal?
