It really depends on the team, but you are probably looking close to $35k plus damage deposit, usually $7500.

A top-tier ride in Champcar Atlantic is in the neighborhood of $1.2m per season, roughly $100k per race and sanctioned test day. Most of the teams are looking for around $800k per season, or $65-70k per race. There are perhaps a handful of teams what would entertain $35k per race in the Champcar Atlantic paddock, and that will get you a bare bones ride without a test day, engineer or serious support.
