    Default Help with RFactor

I just downloaded and installed RFactor. When I click try it, it reduces the resolution to 800X600 (from 1240x780) then goes back to a 1240x780 screen with purchase info. I've tried multiple times with same results. I've searched the help topic on rfactor with no luck. I uninstalled and re-installed with no difference. I'm running ie7 (not beta version).

My CPU meets and exceeds the min. requirements.

I would like to try the game before purchase. Thanks for any help.

I would make sure the set up is correct first. Go to my computer, C, programs then find the Rf folder. Open the folder and look for the set up. Set DX to 8 unless you have a super card and the FPS to auto. That seems to work best for me. Also in the purchase screen you should get an option to " Play Demo " In the Demo version you can't connect to play and you have limited cars and tracks. It is the best SIM Racing Game out there at the moment. Just buy it. If you decide you hate it, which I doubt, they will refund your money and deactivate your game. So either way you get to try it and if you don't like it then it won't cost you anything.

Try the 91.31 drivers with that card. I have the same card.
