Sealing Intake manifold... what should I use?

Ok, When I install the Intake onto the motor... should I use a gasket, or red RTV or both?

I think you can renew one time before having to go back to a school.

I use the stock Ford intake manifold gasket. Light green in color with white plastic sealing rings. In addition I use a little RTV around the shim stock I use to block the water passage to the intake manifold.

Does the GCR still require the use of the Ford stock intake manifold gasket.

I still use it and haven't read that section of the GCR in a while.

Used to be you had to use FOMOCO gaskets, including head gasket.
