    Default Perfect 10

If his head gets any bigger, will it fit in a DB-6?

    Congratulations to Cole Morgan.

Mr. Gold Cup 2006. 10 races, 10 poles, 10 wins.

He has a long list of folks to thank, especially Dad, Jim Morgan. (and Dad's bankers )
James Lee, one of the best ever wrenches in the business.
John Robinson, for providing a target to razz.
Mark Defer and the good folks at St. Clair Motorsports.

Becuase of my absence he also easily wrapped up the SEDIV FC title.

Now he is one of about 15 guys out to prove Sportscar wrong.

I just wish I had been more persuasive to convince him to do the 'Sprints".

    Froggy,

Thanks for the kind words. You are right I want to give a BIG thanks to all of these people and a few more. Sandy at Quicksilver for great engines and for directing the Cooper Series, all the Cooper Officials. Froggy I wish you had been more persuasive with dad to go do the Sprints.

    Default Yeah.... so....

Was there any doubt??? Not in this camp!!

    Nice job Cole!!!

I remember first meeting a skinny little kid riding a bicycle around Roebling Road during race weekends. Great to talk with, knew his stuff about cars (more than I did/do), and a little more respectful than that Jim fellow he's been known to hang around with

Now, he's a tall skinny big kid, kicking buttocks in real cars!!

I'm proud to say I know Cole Morgan.

And...... I'll bet we could find a few fellows to pitch in to get the biggest helmet made if necessary..........

    On to Road America!

The 'kid' can drive. If there was any doubt in my mind, it left when I watched him wheel the DB6 aound M-O at the runoffs last year during testing-very impressive. What the race might have been if only....

    Nice season!

    Absolutely.

Congratulations Cole. You, your father, and your engineer should be very proud of your accomplishments. I wish you the very best of luck this year at the runoffs- everyone "deserves" to win- just making it to the runoffs takes a ton of effort but to have a chance in one of the oldest cars (and youngest competitors) takes natural talent.

Just remember your own mantra- To finish first.... patience is key.

We will be rooting you on here in Atlanta.

    Ditto what Froggy said....
Especially the part about James Lee & Jim Morgan.
But then again I am a bit biased.

    Congrats Cole. Job well done.

Now, On to the next race...

Thank you so much guys, your words mean so much. I have waited for this time for as long as I can remember. Next year is looking even better at the moment, but for now the focus is on the Runoff's. I have gotten so much motovation, and now I have even more. I'm ready to go.

geeeeezzzz cole. all ya did was beat a couple of old geezers, one over twice your age and one over 3 times your age. don't let this all go to your head as you wander out to kansas.
btw, don't forget you won those last 2 races with one of steve knapp's elite engines strapped on your back. use this weekend at r/a to kick back and relax a bit. there's nothing to be gained and you'll have plenty of time to get serious in a few weeks. and take it easy on the car this week!!!

Oh No!!!! Mark, you're letting the grasshopper drive your ride at Road America???

Somehow, I think even the Colemeister is going to be impressed when he sees the 4 miles of black lightning. If there ever was a track built just for him....

Steve Knapp sure does have some impressive numbers when it comes to motors than put folks on the Runoffs podium.

    Well Brad,
If schedule permits I would love to go. I won't go and steal the Swift, but maybe I could talk my way into something else.

    Cole (aka G.B.) -

I don't think that would be the best idea, you might receive the "defer" aggravation fee
