I am looking for someone who can restore a cooper aluminum dry sump tank. It has dents to be fixed and I would like to add a access panel for cleaning. Does anyone have a aluminum wizard they can recommend?
Thanks, Dave

Check with Don Blenderman(sp) at Speedstar. 713-941-1025. He can point you in the right
direction.

If it were me, I'd keep the origonal tank, origonal. Put it on a shelf and have a new tank made.
Also, the aluminum gets very old and brittle. It is impregnated with oil which can be a problem in welding.
I'd make up a nice new tank. By the time they try to fix clean and modify the origonal, you paid for the time they could have made a nice new one.
I sent a foam mock-up of my tank to Moroso and drawings, and they sent one back to me. Not a Cooper.
